February Prompt: Heartbreak

Whoopee is a free, monthly event that lets people play with plays

Writers submit a play of up to 10 minutes in length, the plays can be inspired by the monthly prompt but are not required to be. Submitted plays are chosen at random and volunteer actors are selected to perform these plays they’ve never read or seen before.

Anyone can participate as a writer or actor.. or just watch the fun as part of the audience!

Everyone get’s a chance to vote on the best play of the evening and an award is bestowed upon the winning playwright!

The Whoopee competition begins at 7:30pm, but it is preceded by a cocktail hour with a cash bar starting at 6:30pm. Whoopee is intended for adults aged 18 and up but don’t worry, there’s a Whoopee for the the 18 and under crowd too!
