Whoopee is a free, monthly playwriting competition run by the Kent County Theatre Guild. Members of the community write and submit plays up to 10-minutes in length. Those plays are staged by performers in the audience that night. Any adult (aged 18 & older,) may attend Whoopee as a writer, a performer, or just come to enjoy the completely unrehearsed performances. Participants and audience members vote for their favorites each month.
